It's a new era....

I cant thank everyone enough for welcoming me into the club with open arms and trusting me with all you have to offer here!!  So far it's been a fun journey!  I operate a Can Am 650XT as often as possible, and have even involved my sons in our adventures with their own 90cc and 200cc quads.

In taking on this opportunity, I have been hoping to touch base with everyone who is a member of the club and who is just browsing for more information.  It's important to me that each member of the club have input and idea into this site.....after all - it's for the club.  If at any time you have a cool idea that we can possibly implement here, please let me know!  The site needs to be easy to use for everyone.

There are a lot of new ideas coming forth each day and I hope to use them all...you'll be happy to see the changes each time you log in.

Here are a couple of guidelines that will help to get your ideas onto the site: All pictures you'd like to submit, if you email them, do it in .jpeg format!  If you just cant figure it out, let me know and I'll help you with it.  You can also drop the pics to me at the meetings, but make sure you label them for content and I'll do my best to get them back to you.  If you want to put them on a thumb drive, I'll use that too and return it to you.  I now have a laptop computer, so bring your pics to the meetings and we'll dowload them there.  If your device requires a cable, please bring it!!

Anything that is found to be on the website that is inappropriate in any way will be removed- this includes blog entries, submitted photos, bad links etc...  If you believe that your content is not inappropriate, the club will be the overall, final decision as to wether it is posted or not.  During this process however, it will be removed from the site.

A word about blogs...while it is fun to tease eachother about things like yellow vs red...remember that our site is seen by the entire world.  This being said, if any teasing gets out of control, it will be deleted.  After putting a lot of thought into this blog, I've decided that absolutely no talk of politics or religion will be allowed.  While everyone is entitled to their own opinion, we should not make those a blog subject that is both passionate and obtrusive to others.  Our blog is meant as a way to connect with other members and let the world see what we're up to in a positive light!!

Although this website contains excellent information, albums and other resources, Chippewa Valley ATVer's Inc is not responsible, in any way, for the content contained in it's website. Any outside content in it's original form that is posted (i.e. photos, member statements) becomes the property of the club.  All content that is copywrited and used on the club website, will be use with permission in writing of the owner of that material.  If there is no permission, and it is found to be copywrited, then the material will be deleted.

All videos posted depict uses of atvs ranging from recreational use to extreme sports.  Please do not attempt any of these things unless your training and experience level is appropriate to handle your machine.  The Chippewa Valley ATVers promote safety skills trainings and invite you to attend the next training that is posted.

Thank you for joining us today!  Make sure that you check back often here for updates and information that can help you share in the Chippewa Valley ATVers experiences!!  I included one of my personal favorite pictures from one of my latest rides.  I just returned from an amazing trip from Wallace, Idaho!  the views were amazing and the atving was extraordinary!!  Star
